
The WV DEP and DHHR continue to monitor the water quality with the assistance of local water utilities.

If there is a issue with water quality related to this event, water utilities are notified to shut down intake from the river until safe to resume. Last week, water utilities that draw from the river temporarily halted drawing water from the river as a chemical bloom passed by the area. At this time there are no alerts issued on the drinking water.

On 4-15-2023 between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. work will be done on a water line in the Three Springs shopping center. Areas affected by this notice include all businesses in the Three Springs shopping center including: Aldi's, O'Reilly's, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Dunkin Donuts, Kroger, Beyond the Smile dental, Dan O's Cafe, St Thomas Church and any other businesses and residents that experienced low or no pressure in that area.
