Narcan (naloxone) is an opioid antagonist and is used for the complete or partial reversal of opioid overdose, including respiratory depression. It is also used for diagnosis of suspected or known acute opioid overdose and also for blood pressure support in septic shock. Narcan is available as a generic termed naloxone. HIDTA - Give Me A Reason The "Give Me A Reason" drug prevention initiative is a voluntary drug testing program designated as a way for our youth to avoid peer pressure and give them a reason to say "no" to drug use. Increase in Administration Fee

On July 1 2016 The Brooke County Health Department's administration fee for Immunizations will go up to $20. This includes PPD's and the assessments. We work with families with little to no income and go off a sliding scale fee that fits your financial needs. No one will be turned away. All managed care insurance through the WV Medicaid program can be billed for immunizations and most commercial insurances as well.
